Cylinder Movement

Extension (Tensioning): When pressurized hydraulic fluid is pumped into the cylinder, it forces the piston and attached piston rod outward in a linear motion to apply force. This is the action used for tensioning cables or anchor bolts in post-tensioning applications.
Retraction (Return): The SJ3010 is a single-acting cylinder with a spring return mechanism. To retract the piston, the hydraulic pressure is released, allowing an internal spring to push the piston rod back into the cylinder body.
