RH Series Cylinder Specifications

Material Composition of RH Single-Acting Series Cylinders

1. Steel Construction (Single-Acting Models, 30–100 Ton)

The standpipe is made from steel and treated with a “Power Tech” corrosion-resistant finish.
The piston rod is plated steel, designed to resist wear and improve seal longevity.
These heavy-duty cylinders (30 – 100 ton, single-acting) are clearly built with robust steel components
Certain single-acting models—notably the RHA306—feature an aluminum cylinder body and piston. These are lighter and more portable while still offering durability.
Additionally, standpipe corrosion resistance is provided via the Power Tech treatment even when aluminum components are used.
Additional Notes
- The plated piston rod (with superior packing) appears to be common across the RH Series, enhancing wear resistance and sealing for longer cycle life.
- The Power Tech finish is applied to protect steel parts like the standpipe from corrosion
